As 2021 comes to a close, I would like to reflect on some of the symbolism that was shown to us this year that may have went over the heads of some people. 2021 was the year of the Ox, which turned out to be the year of the “X.” Dark Man X (DMX) died on Lil Nas X’s birthday, the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl (skull and crossbones form an “X” and symbolizes poison and death), the rock band Poison had a world tour scheduled for 2020 before the pandemic began, ECW legend New Jack passed away (known for making an “X” gesture with his arms), CM Punk returned to wrestling after a seven-year absence (also known for making an “X” gesture), and X-Pac was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame along with other members of the NWO. One of X-Pac’s finishing moves as a wrestler was called “X marks the spot.” Demi Lovato also announced she/they are gender fluid. The letter “X” represents a non-binary gender. Ironically enough, Lovato was a judge on a show called “The X Factor.” Track and Field Team USA star Raven Saunders paid tribute to the “X” with an arm gesture of her own during the medal ceremony at the Tokyo Olympics. Dez Bryant, former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowler, was also known for making the “X” arm gesture, and the Cowboys have a good chance of winning the next Super Bowl. XRP, the cryptocurrency, was in the news in 2021 over the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple. The total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 casts a giant “X” over the U.S, which will signify the end of the seven-year tribulation period. Also, in the Year of the Ox, we had the distribution of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID vaccine. Most “conspiracy theorists” believe that the graphene oxide is being put into the shot. Speaking of shots, there was a high school shooting in Oxford, Michigan that made headlines across the U.S. Do you see the “ox” connections?
The numbers 93 and 28 were important numbers in the year 2021, and many of this year’s sports champions were connected to these numbers. For example, Ariana Grande, who was born in ’93 and turned 28 this year, released a song called “7 Rings” on January 18, 2019.

Black and white represents duality, which is what Baphomet symbolizes. Baphomet is the goat-headed deity originally worshipped by the Knights Templar who many associate with Satan. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers logo is the skull and crossbones, which symbolizes poison and death. The same logo was used two months later for WrestleMania 37. The New World Order, one of wrestling’s most infamous stables, were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at WrestleMania 37. Lil Nas X, who was born on April 9, 1999 on the 99th day of the year and is one of today’s most popular rappers, made headlines in March when he introduced his new line of shoes called “Satan Shoes” which contained a drop of human blood in them. The following month, Chloe Zhao made history at the 93rd Academy Awards when she became the first Asian female to win the Best Director award. The name “Chloe Zhao” equals 93 in Gematria. She won the award at 39 years old, which is the inverse of 93.
Britney Spears was 39 years old in 2021 before she turned 40 on December 2, and she has been in the mainstream media all year long for her conservatorship battle with her family. In February, Daft Punk announced their split after 28 years of being together. The iconic duo known for their robot heads was formed in ’93.

As you can see, the numbers 93 and 28 were very significant in the year 2021. It will be interesting to see if we see a similar pattern occur in 2022 with a different set of numbers. With the new year only a few days away, we shouldn’t have to wait long to find out. I anticipate 2022 will be equally as challenging as 2020 and 2021 have been.
